ABOUT

Erika Larsen’s most notable bodies of work, Young Blood and The Hunt,
look intimately at hunting culture in North America, its connection with nature
and its role in the cycle of life and death.

She has worked as a magazine photographer since 2000 specializing in
human-interest stories, sensitive cultural issues and the daily life of
people connected to the natural world.

She has been recognized by World Press Photo, American Society of Magazine
Editors, Society of Photographers, New Jersey State Council of the Arts and
is a Fulbright Scholar.

Her work has been published and exhibited internationally.

Erika is currently in the Scandinavian Arctic living with a family of Sami
reindeer herders.
